Let’s Learn How to End Domestic Violence Together – A Community Learning Experience

On Saturday, April 8th 10 am to 1 pm, the Essex Association of ABCNJ will sponsor a Community Learning Experience at Bethany Baptist Church, Pastor Levi Jones, 275 West Market Street, Newark, NJ. The event includes inactive activities for adults, young adults and teenagers.  The focus for the adults will be on recognizing Domestic Violence and what steps need to be taken to help the victim to be safe. The session for young adults and teens will focus on dating issues.

Interactive Presentations will be conducted by Titus Women of Victory and S.O.F.I.A. (Start Out Fresh Intervention Advocate).  Informational Displays will include NJ Division on Women, Essex County DVRT (Domestic Violence Response Team), SAFE House Shelter, Access Family Service, Inc.  NJCEDV, Women of Color Task Force, and S.A.V.E. (Suffering & Violence Erased).
