The American Baptist Churches of New Jersey is a diverse network of congregations seeking to be the hands and feet of Christ through camping, evangelistic ministries, public mission, social action, new church planting, and cross-cultural missions. With 277 churches that make up 70,000 members, our clergy and lay members strive to engage in the mission of Christ in our neighborhoods, nation, and around the globe to glorify God and change the world.
We have been serving our churches and communities since 1830. We are part of the American Baptist Churches, USA, one of the most diverse denominations in the United States.

Our Ministry Team is dedicated to supporting and empowering the churches and pastors within the American Baptist Churches of New Jersey (ABCNJ). With a shared commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ, our team provides guidance, resources, and collaborative opportunities to help local churches thrive in their mission and ministry. Together, we seek to build strong, healthy communities of faith that reach beyond the church walls, embracing the love of Christ and spreading His message of hope.
