The ABCNJ Academy is proud to announce it’s partnership with the Eastern School of Christian Ministry (ESCM), part of Palmer Theological Seminary. The region office has become the latest classroom site for the program.
Writing for Success
Many ESCM students have been out of school for a number of years, or have minimal or no experience in writing academic papers. Writing for Success will empower students to express their thoughts well for the academic arena.
Thursday – 6:30-9:00 pm (this course will meet for six sessions).
Christian Leadership will focus on some of the spiritual and emotional dynamics which are displayed by good leaders. Both Biblical and contemporary examples will be analyzed to give students insight into the basic elements of good leadership.
Saturday – 9:00-12:00 (this course will meet for five sessions)
The Eastern School of Christian Ministry is designed for church lay leaders, bi-vocational pastors, Sunday school teachers and any others interested in gaining some basic theological training. Enrollments requires only a high school diploma or a GED, and registration costs $225 per course. ABCNJ’s partnership with ESCM will focus on two certificate programs. For more information on these programs, or to register for classes, click/tap on the links in the descriptions below.
The Christian Leadership certificate “is designed to equip lay leaders such as elders or deacons who work with pastoral ministry teams.”
The Biblical Studies certificate “is designed to equip students with a strong biblical foundation and is ideal for Bible study leaders or church-school teachers.”
