Part-Time Administrative Assistant/Registrar At Camp Lebanon

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Has a college degree or has a specialized experience deemed acceptable by the Director of camping.

  2. Has computer skills.

  3. Is mature as a person and in his/her Christian faith.

  4. Has some experience in camp program development and implementation.

  5. Has and displays good communication skills.

  6. The ability to be flexible to the ever changing needs of a summer camping program.

  7. Knowledgeable in:

    1. Microsoft - Excel and Word

    2. Filemaker Pro

    3. Google Sheets

8) Strong grammar and spelling skills

Responsible To

  1. The Director of Camping for the American Baptist Churches of New Jersey.

General Responsibilities

  1. Accept the camp’s Mission Statement and work toward its basic objective.

  2. Work with Director of camping in implementing the camping and retreating program and their daily needs.

  3. Coordinate program needs with the Director of camping and Site Manager.

Specific Responsibilities

  1. Assist the Director of Camping.

  2. Coordinate and register retreat and camp scheduling and needs.

    1. Including:

      1. Scheduling

      2. Registration 

      3. Billing

      4. Follow-up

      5. Legal documents

      6. Bulk mailings

  3. Work closely with the ABCNJ region office 

  4. Maintain financial reports and filing as needed.

  5. Maintain the office needs and supplies.

    1. Including:

      1. State sales tax reports

      2. Petty Cash including checking account

  6. Work with vendors as needed.

  7. Any other camping or retreating needs deemed necessary by the Director of camping.
