Dear brothers and sisters in Christ:

Blessings from our Lord! As you know, the annual Hispanic Baptist youth retreat is fast approaching.  This year, the organizing committee worked hard and with the Lord’s guidance they chose the theme “Drop the Mask-Living Your Identity in Christ” and as a Bible reference we are using Ephesians 4:22-24. The event will be from September 5th to 7th 2008 at Twin Pines Bible Conference Center in Pennsylvania.

The purpose of this retreat is for the youth to experience true and meaningful moments with the Lord. Reaffirm who they are in Christ, study the Bible and enjoy alone time with God   To be able to enjoy all the great things that the Lord is preparing for those days we ask that you cooperate by distributing the registration forms to your counselors and leaders as soon as you receive them.   It is essential that we received the registration materials and a deposit of $25 per person no later than August 15th to the address on the registration form- keep in mind we will not receive more people after this August 15th.  In the same manner, we inform you that if you send your deposit by August 1st the total cost will be $105.00 per person and f you send it after August 1st. the cost will be $125.00.

We also encourage you to ask the people of your church to “adopt” a youth who otherwise might not be able to cover the cost of this event. We know that the Spirit of God will be present and moving amidst our youth.

We look forward to welcoming each church and feeling the love of Christ among out youth!
