Although I resigned from the position as of September 30, 2007, I agreed to remain responsible for the last gathering of this year. Today, October 25, 2007, is the day! A number of WIM from throughout the region will be meeting at Fountain Baptist Church in Summit at 6:30 p.m.to hear first hand what the Lord has placed on the heart of the Rev. Dr. Lee B. Spitzer , ABCNJ Executive Minister, for this ministry. Regardless of the specifics of our new direction, our work will continue and the Lord will continue to be glorified in our diverse ministries. Too often, we function as if it is the other person who should pick up the baton and challenge us to reach new heights. This time it may very well be you who has been ordained to help women throughout the State of New Jersey better realize what God has for us. Please be prayerful and attentive to what the Spirit has to say. I encourage you to reach out to your area minister or Dr. Spitzer with your concerns and needs. It has been a blessing and an honor to serve you these last six years. May we continue to be diligent in our service for our Lord and Savior. Be blessed all, Gloria White, ABCNJ Women in Ministry |

Recently, I received an email from a WIM whom the Lord had me connect with during the Biennial. During our converstion in DC, she poured out her heart as it related to her frustrations in ministry. It was a time of listening, sharing, crying, and laughter. We mapped out a doable strategy to help jump start her ministerial career.
In today's email, she shared with noticeable joy that she had already put some of our strategies in place and was working towards bringing the others to fruition. This sister had clearly planned her work and was working her plan. Sometimes, we need someone who is outside the forest to help us see more than green. Where is your ministry today? If you are in a rut, we are here to help you. There are many other WIM who have been where you are and will share with you their wisdom. That rut can soon be a thing of the past! Reach out so that we can help someone...YOU! |
