Last week I came across this gem from 1981 on YouTube.  Twenty-Eight years ago the print-publishing was already beginning to understand that the computer revolution would fundamentally alter the way that human-beings communicate.  Watch this enlightening clip, and then click on "read more" to see just how far we've come.
Twenty-Eight years ago there were two to three thousand computer owners in the LA region.  Twenty-Eight years ago owning a computer was so significant that a person could be identified in a news story with "Owns Home Computer."  In 1981 the digitized form of the paper was text-only, there were no images in the hours long download that people were forced to endure to get their content.  Now, in 2009, we can read the paper in the palm of our hands in a fraction of a second, and it looks like this.

The question is, "How are our churches taking part in this monumental shift?"
